UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Says Law And Order Improved After 2017 And Flags Off Modern Prison Vans

According to reports, the state’s law and order situation, as per Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has set an example for the country and even the world. The BJP leader was addressing at a ceremony after updating jail vans for 56 districts as a part of the Police Modernization Scheme.

He said, “Uttar Pradesh’s law and order is seen as a model for the country and the world. The Chief Minister Adityanath continued by saying that Uttar Pradesh’s law-and-order situation is usually cited as an example of a state where rioting, disorder, and hooliganism peaked before 2017, but where the rule of law has since reestablished itself.

Adityanath had mocked previous regimes by saying that lawbreakers and police used to get away from them. The chief minister stated that, “Modern Prison Van is a part of the project that we launched with the operation of modernising the police for greater security and peace in the country’s largest state”.

He had already warned that the prisoners would either escape from the jail or would be attacked and freed by gangs since they were brought there in outmoded, out-of-date cars without contemporary equipment. Adityanath claims that these modern prison vans, however, are equipped with technology to ensure the safety of police officers when transporting prisoners from jail to court and from court to jail.

Whether it is through the open hiring process for police or educating them to be professionally competent, successful measures have been taken to maintain order and peace in the state.
