According to information, on Tuesday the Jammu and Kashmir police has stated that,, the main accused in the murder of Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (Prisons) Hemant Kumar Lohia has been arrested.
Hemant Kumar Lohia was found dead at his Jammu home on Monday. Police sources say that the suspect is now being questioned.
“The suspect involved in the murder case of Shri Hemant Kumar Lohia has been caught in a huge manhunt conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir police throughout the night”, as per the reports from the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Hemant Kumar Lohia was found dead on Monday night, only a few hours after the Union Home Minister Amit Shah landed in Jammu for a three day visit to the Union Territory. “He is a domestic helper and the primary suspect”.
“A murder weapon was discovered, stated by Mukesh Singh, ADGP of Jammu. The suspect’s notebook was also found, which records his poor mental state”. More investigation is being undertaken”.
