According to information, violent confrontation broke out between passengers and airline personnel aboard a SpiceJet flight with a Patna destination on Friday morning at the Delhi airport after the flight was delayed for more than two hours.
The flight from Delhi to Patna, flight 8721, was scheduled to leave Terminal 3 at 7.20 am, as per passengers on board. Finally, around 10:10 a.m., the flight took off.
The passengers further stated that, after initially blaming weather related delays. Further, the airline officials later assigned technical issues as the reason for the delay.
The passengers told that, several people were upset over the delayed flight’s departure and got into heated arguments with airline representatives at the airport.Â
A SpiceJet officials also said that, the delay was caused by a technical issue, and the flight has finally taken off.
