A senior police officer told news agency PTI on Wednesday that preliminary findings of the post-mortem carried on legendary Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath or KK, who died shortly after a live concert in Kolkata, suggested that he died of heart arrest.
It is told that singer KK has had prolonged Cardiac issues.
“The initial report suggested that the singer died because of myocardial infarction. There was no foul play behind his death. Clinical examination also found that the singer was having prolonged cardiac issues,”. The full report will be available in 72 hours, according to the officer.
According to authorities, KK was confirmed “brought dead” by physicians at a hospital where he was was rushed to after “falling unconscious” upon his arrival to his lodging following a concert on Tuesday night.
A case of unnatural death has been reported to the police, and an investigation has begun. Officers interviewed with hotel officials and analyzed CCTV video as part of the investigation.
