As per Reports, On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally unveil the well-known footbridge that spans the Sabarmati Riverfront between the Ellis and Sardar bridges. Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad celebrated its tenth birthday last week, the same week that India celebrated the milestone of its 75th year of freedom.
Another attraction was built with tourists and other visitors in mind by constructing a footbridge between Ellis Bridge and Sardar Bridge. This 300-meter bridge connects the east and west sides of the Sabarmati Riverfront.
In addition to other public developments on both banks, this bridge will link the plaza between Flower Park and the Event Ground on the West Bank to the planned Art, Cultural, and Exhibition Center on the East Bank.
The bridge will improve the Riverfront and the city while also becoming an engineering marvel. It is excellent in both aesthetic and technical terms. In addition, the “Veer Balak Memorial” in the Kutchian village of Anjar will have its dedication on Sunday from the Prime Minister. On January 26, 2001, 185 pupils and 20 teachers who were present during a rally in the Kutch town of Anjar were buried beneath the rubble of nearby structures.
The distress of this circumstance was known to the entire world. Bhupendra Patel, the chief minister, oversaw the completion of the memorial’s construction. 100 members of the deceased person’s family are invited to the inauguration.
