Ruling Coalition MLAs To Be Shifted To Raipur : Jharkhand

According to information, the ruling Congress-JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) coalition in Jharkhand is moving its MLAs to neighbouring Chhattisgarh in response to alleged BJP poaching attempts.

The MLAs would likely to be transferred to Raipur, the Congress-run state of Chhattisgarh’s capital.

Jharkhand is already going through a political crisis as the opposition BJP seems to have dismissed Chief Minister Hemant Soren from the Assembly due to an alleged office of profit.

Sources states that, Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s party, the JMM, is concerned that the BJP would take advantage of the situation to try to depose the elected government by luring MLAs away from the ruling coalition.

This afternoon, two buses carrying the MLAs were observed leaving Mr. Hemant Soren’s home and heading toward Ranchi Airport. A flight has being scheduled to carry them to Raipur.
