Robin Hood Arrested By Delhi Police For Robbing Posh Houses And Gave Some To Poor

According to Reports, Police in Delhi reported that, a “Robin Hood” gang leader of 25 merry men who robbed the wealthy and gave some of the money—but not all—to the poor was captured on Monday.

Wasim Akram, 27, also nicknamed as Lambu (“Lofty”), and his crew allegedly broke into “big mansions in wealthy neighbourhoods of Delhi”, stole jewellery and cash, and then distributed some of the loot to the less poor.

“Due to this quality, he has a sizable following in the area. These sources immediately let him know where the cops are, which gives him the opportunity to run away”. The “notorious absconding history sheeter”, a repeat offender, allegedly constantly changed hiding sites throughout several states, as stated.

Number Of Offensive Cases by his Name :

 Wasim Akram was apprehended by a special cell that had been on his track for the preceding four months. Akram is charged with 160 offences, including rape, attempted murder, and robbery.

As stated in the police statement, Wasim was captured after a squad led by Inspector Shiv Kumar set up a traps close to the Anand Vihar train station. The reports says that, “a single shot pistol with three live rounds was taken from his possession” when he was apprehended.
