In their Asia Cup match on Sunday at Dubai International Stadium, Team India pulled off an exciting victory over their bitter enemies. In order to give his team a five-wicket victory, the all-rounder first assisted India in bowling Pakistan out for 147 runs by taking three wickets. Later, he scored 33 runs off 17 balls, including the game-winning six.
Former India head coach Ravi Shastri praised his performance on Twitter, calling him the “greatest T20 all-rounder.” Sachin Tendulkar, a former Indian batsman, too praised Team India and Hardik for their outstanding performance against Pakistan earlier in the day.
Hardik Pandya’s journey through life came full circle on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium when he defeated Pakistan, the same team against whom he had sustained an injury in 2018 during the Asia Cup and had to miss nearly three years of cricket play, with a game-winning knock.On Wednesday, Team India’s next matchup will be against Hong Kong in Group A.
