According to reports, Mohan Kundariya, the BJP Lok Sabha member from Rajkot, has said that, his 12 relatives were among those killed in the Morbi town suspension bridge disaster in Gujarat.
As stated by the BJP MP, they were at the picnic area on Sunday when the tragedy happened. Authorities claim that at least 141 people were killed when a suspension bridge over the Machchhu River collapsed.
Mohan  Kundariya revealed that his family’s 12 casualties were four women, three men and five children who were all members of his older brother’s immediate family. He threatened severe retribution for anyone responsible for the atrocity.
Mohan Kundariy also stated that, the disaster resulted in the deaths of four of my older brother’s daughters brother-in-laws, three of their husbands, and five of their children. He said they lived in Morbi and belonged from several towns in the Tankara Taluka. Because it being a Sunday, they had gone to the picnic spot where the tragedy had occurred. I began helping with the rescue efforts 30 minutes after the accident struck and was there all day yesterday,” the MP stated.
There have been a great deal of fatalities. We will harshly punish anyone responsible for the event, he said. Bhupendra Patel, the Gujarat Chief Minister, was said to have set up camp in Morbi after the bridge collapsed. He also said that, we will ensure that nobody responsible for the loss of so many lives is spared.
