Indian And Pakistani Troops Exchange Sweets

On the occasion of Eid, Pakistan Army and the Border Security Force of Gujarat Frontier exchanged gifts and greetings along the Indo-Pak international border in Gujarat and the Barmer region of Rajasthan.

The holy event known as the “festival of sacrifice” is called Eid Al-Adha or Bakra Eid, and it is commemorated on July 10 this year. It takes place on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the twelveth month of the Islamic or lunar calendar. It signifies the conclusion of the yearly Hajj trip.

Different countries have distinctive cultural approaches to this significant occasion, and Eid traditions and celebrations vary around the world. Muslims in India go to outdoor prayer gatherings ,dressed new. They would sacrifice a sheep or a goat and distribute the meat to the underprivileged, their neighbours, and family.

On this day, numerous refections are consumed, including mutton biryani, Ghosht Haleem, Shami Kebab, and mutton kurma, as well as goodies like kheer and Sheer Kurma. Giving to the less fortunate is seen as an essential element of Eid al- Adha.
