Facebook users are making fun of IIT Bombay because they think the institute used a picture of the Indian flag instead of the tiranga atop its structure for the Independence Day cover photo. A week ago, the cover picture was updated. It depicts the verdant landscape in front of IIT Bombay’s main structure, with the flag clearly visible on top.
As part of the government’s “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, the flag was flown from numerous structures throughout the nation. The Facebook cover photo for IIT Bombay has 255 comments and almost 2,500 replies. Additionally, 539 people have shared it. Many Facebook users mocked the picture.
