Having Resigned From Congress, KAPIL SIBAL Files Nomination For Rajya Sabha With Samajwadi Party’s Support

Kapil Sibal said on May 16 that he had resigned from the Congress and is now an independent voice. The former MHRD minister announced on May 16 that he has resigned from the Congress and is now an independent voice. Sibal has not joined the Samajwadi Party, according to both Akhilesh Yadav and Kapil Sibal. “As an Independent candidate, I have filed my nomination.” “I’ve always aspired to be an independent voice in the country,” Sibal stated, adding, “I resigned from the Congress Party on May 16.

As a prominent counsel, Sibal is known to have close relations to the Yadav family. Sibal contended in the Election Commission in January 2017 (during the Yadav family strife) that Akhilesh Yadav should be given the ‘Bicycle’ emblem. Akhilesh ultimately received the emblem.
