Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Sunday said tensions between the United States and China and Russia-Ukraine affects the Asia-Pacific security.
On Sunday the Singapore PM said tensions between the United States and China and the Russia-Ukraine war affects security in the Asia-Pacific.
‘The Asia-Pacific region will see more geopolitical contestation,’ he said, adding Singapore would do its best to avoid being caught up in these rivalries.
The deteriorating U.S.-China relationship makes it “almost impossible” to work together on critical global issues like climate change, pandemics, and nuclear proliferation, he said at the city-state’s national day rally.
