Gas prices have reached high after Russia further cute the gas supplies to Germany and many other central European countries after got threatened to earlier this week.
European gas prices get rises almost 2% trading after the invaded of Ukraine. Critics accused the Russian government using the supply of gas as a political weapon. Russian cut downed the supply with flows from the Nord Stream 1 pipeline To Germany now it is operating at the percent of less than fifth of its normal capacity.
Before the conflict between Russia And Ukraine War. Germany used to imported over half of it’s gas from Russia and most of it got imported from the Nord Stream 1. and rest of the gas were got imported from other land based pipelines.
By the end of the last month the import of the gas were reduced to over a quarter. Russian energy firm Gazprom has a sought to justify the latest reduction of the imports of gas to Germany. they said ” It was needed ton allow the maintain the turbines of the pipelines”.
As far as concern the German government said “However there was not a technical issue which made Russian government to reduce the imports of the gas”.
Ukraine has said that there will be a “Gas War” against Europe which inflict terror on people. Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said : Even Now, Russian is no longer able to blackmail us as they are doing it to the Germany.
Although, The European government is not in a big Gas crisis because of they import only 5% of gas from Russia. Just they might a price hikes in the global markets as demand as increased by Europe.
