According to Reports, On Sunday, the first Akasa Air flight between Mumbai and Ahmedabad took off. MoS General Vijay Kumar Singh and Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya M. Scindia christened the aircraft (Retired). Akasa Air, the newest airline in India, will launch its maiden commercial flights from a system of initial bases in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kochi.
Akasa Air, which flies with the airline code QP, will start offering service on August 7, 2022, with 28 weekly flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

On August 13, as a result, the airline would start operating an additional 28 weekly flights between Bengaluru and Kochi. There are currently tickets available for all events.

In July, the airline funded by well-known entrepreneur Rakesh Jhunjhunwala received the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the appointing Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The grant of the AOC, which denotes that all legal and compliance requirements for the airline’s operational readiness have been satisfactorily completed, is the culmination of the DGCA’s detailed and stringent process.
