After which the administration imposed curfew in many areas of Udaipur district to maintain law and order. District Magistrate Tarachand Meena has issued an order and curfew has been imposed in Dhanmandi, Ghantaghar, Hathipol, Ambamata, Surajpol, Bhupalpura, Savina police station areas till further orders. During this time, the movement of the general public in these areas will be closed.
Section 144 also implemented across the district
Apart from curfew in some areas of Udaipur, Section 144 has been imposed in the entire district. Under section 144, five or more persons will not be able to gather at one place in Udaipur district. Railway stations, bus stands, medical institutions, government and public offices and schools and colleges have been kept free from this ban. The Collector said that in exceptional circumstances at any place other than these places, special permission will have to be obtained from the District Magistrate, Udaipur, the sub-divisional magistrate of the concerned sub-division to get exemption in this order.

He said mobile internet service has been suspended in Udaipur and the situation is being assessed. According to him, curfew has been imposed in seven police station areas of Udaipur from 8 pm on Tuesday till further orders. Ghumaria said that two Additional Director Generals of Police have been sent to Udaipur and the Deputy Inspector General of Police is already there and in addition a Superintendent of Police has been sent to Udaipur. In view of the situation, 600 police personnel have also been sent to the city, the official said. Additional Director General of Police said that the motive behind the murder would be clear after the arrest of the accused. He appealed to the people not to make the video viral.
