Sajjan Singh Verma, a Congress MLA and former Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister, claims that previous Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Muhammad Ali Jinnah partitioned the country “out of wisdom.”
Jinnah was described as a “freedom fighter” by the Congress leader, who claimed that partitioning the country was the “correct thing” to do.
The former cabinet minister made the comments while speaking to the media on Wednesday.
