Bengaluru Women Dies While Trying To Avoid The Pothole, After Being Hit By A Bus

According to information, A woman was fatally died in an accident being hit by a bus on Tuesday while attempting to avoid a pothole in Bengaluru’s Rajajinagar area.

The mother and daughter were travelling on a two wheeler vehicle when they were hit by a speeding bus while attempting to avoid a pothole. The 50 years old suffered serious injuries. The accident occurred close to Sujata Theater on Magadi Road. Sunitha, the victim’s daughter, has been confirmed her name as Umadevi.

Victim’s daughter Umadevi stated that, our mother was the only lady who could take care of us because we belong from a highly underprivileged class, and we are asking reparation and justice from the government the accident caused due to the potholes in the road.

The victim’s family members further added that, they will file a complaint against the BBMP and as well as against the KSRTC bus driver and demand that they fix all of the Bengaluru city’s potholes.

Tushar Girinath, the Chief Commissioner of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), visited the accident scene following the tragic event and evaluated the area with police. Executives from the company have put barricades in the accident zone area.
