According to information, as a senior police officer stated that, when the bus they were riding in collapsed in the Hazaribag district, four people were killed and 25 others were injured in Jharkhand.
The incident occurred when the bus driver lost control of his vehicle near Bahumar, around 110 kilometres from the state capital of Ranchi, as per the Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan Chothe said.
He claimed that the vehicle was primarily transporting pilgrims as it passed through Hazaribag on its way from Gaya to Odisha.
As reported by the Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan Chothe , five of the injured are in serious condition and have been transported to Hazaribag Medical College and Hospital.
The police further said that, they need to wait for the reports of the 5 persons and the other 25 persons injured have received treatment and are in better condition now.
