According to reports, DGP Dilbagh Singh said that, the majority of target killing cases have been resolved. There are just one or two cases that are still pending in which the pertinent parties have been found, but even those cases will shortly be closed.
The Jammu and Kashmir police director general, Dilbag Singh, claims that virtually all incidences of terrorist target killing in Kashmir have been solved and that terrorist infiltration from across the LOC has significantly reduced. The DGP claimed that border security procedures are very effective in thwarting any infiltration efforts while speaking with the media in Pulwama, South Kashmir.
While some attempts had been made, he further said that, infiltrators were murdered. The DGP added that numerous drug dealer prosecutions had been brought, and that over 2000 persons had been arrested in connection with different drugrelated cases. He asserted that many of them had seen PSAs and that serious steps were just being taken to deal with the problem. DGP stated earlier that, people were killed by bullets.
But nowadays, because anyone who uses drugs once would continue to hunt for them, people are killed by drugs in this region. The DGP claimed that there have been attempts to drop drugs via drones, particularly in the Jammu region, but that every effort has been done to prevent this menace.
While addressing  in the Tral district, the DGP commended the people and young for rejecting the path of terrorism and opting for peace and development. He asserted that Tral has become a refuge for peace and is today essentially terror free. Youth must continue on this path since those who deviated on wrong path never came back.
