According to information, on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that, India’s assumption of the G20 presidency is a big opportunity that the country must seize by focusing on the advancement of the global community.
The G20 leadership will officially transition to India on December 1 from current leader Indonesia. In his most recent Mann Ki Baat televised speech, which he gives every month, Modi asserted that India is capable of providing solutions to the myriad issues that the world is now experiencing.
Further, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that, “India will take over the key G20 leadership on December 1. It offers India a significant opportunity. India needs to make the most of its G20 leadership role by prioritising global prosperity”.
Members of the G20 are South Africa, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, China, United States, and the European Union.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also added that, India does have a remedy for all of these problems, whether it is peace or togetherness, environmental awareness or sustainable growth.
