According to reports, in Rajasthan’s Sirohi district, four men are accused of raping a 45 years old woman in front of her husband. The four men, according to the couple, came to their home specifically to rob them.
As per the police, both husband and wife who were in shock, remained inside the house on Thursday before reporting the incident at the local police station on Friday. They said that the fourth suspect is still wanted.
Three of the suspects were taken into custody on Saturday. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Pindwara) Jethu Singh stated that the woman’s husband was a watchman. On Wednesday night, as the couple was going to sleep the four men broke into their house and held them hostage.
They stripped the man and took 1,400 from him. He claimed that although they demanded more cash and other valuables, the couple only had some silver jewellery. When the thieves had nothing left to gain, he claimed, they “raped the wife in front of her husband”.Â
The officer asserted that the police acted quickly after receiving information and that officers from multiple stations were searching for and identifying the culprit. Three of them were detained today on Saturday. He stated that our personnel are pursuing the fourth suspect and that they will catch him as well.
