According to information, authorities claim that a car that lost control on OMR in Chennai struck and killed two ladies who works as software employees on Thursday.
On Thursday, the incident happened as the techies were leaving the office to go home. The women were heading towards their house when the driver of the car lost control and struck them.
Authorities said that one of them died instantly and the other passed dead at a nearby hospital. The two fatalities were R Lakshmi, 23, of Palakkad, and S Lavanya, 24, of Tirupati.
A Sholinganallur driver named M Kumar has been taken into custody. Two schoolgirls were killed today in another incident when a cargo vehicle ran over and killed them at Ambur in the surrounding Tirupattur district.
