According to information, DGCA official said that, due to autopilot malfunction that forced SpiceJet flight that had departed for Maharashtra’s Nashik from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport to turn and return back.
He insisted that the Boeing 737 landed safely. An SpiceJet official stated that an AutoPilot issue forced a SpiceJet B737 aircraft that was supposed to go from Delhi to Nashik to turn around and return to Delhi.
He claimed that the flight arrived in Delhi without issue, the passengers boarded, and they left without any further problem.
Due to a number of accidents involving SpiceJet aircraft in the past, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) sent the airline a show-cause notice. Due to growing fuel costs and the depreciating value of the rupee, the airline is presently undergoing financial difficulties.
In addition, the SpiceJet airline was ordered by the aviation safety authorities on July 27 to operate not more than 50% of its flights for eight weeks.
