The incident happened in front of the family of Irshad’s son Ayaz, who lives in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, as well as a few other relatives.
They claimed there is a scrap godown on the ground floor of the three-story house. An electrical short circuit caused the fire to start in the godown and spread quickly, according to the authorities. After two hours, according to senior superintendent of police Hemant Kutiyal, the fire crew arrived and put out the fire.
