The first monkeypox victim in India, a male from Kerala, is now well. Today, July 30, the 35-year-old resident of Kollam will be dismissed from the Government Medical College.
After coming from the UAE, the patient’s test results were positive. He arrived at Trivandrum Airport on July 12, and on July 14 he was admitted to the hospital with signs of monkey pox.
All samples were negative twice. The patient is physically and mentally healthy. The skin bumps are completely cured. He will be discharged today.
