Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, released in 2016, was Ben Affleck’s first appearance as the Dark Knight.
Ben Affleck may make a comeback as a superhero. The Academy Award-winning actor most recently stoked speculation that he may play Batman again in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. As Jason Momoa released some images from their recent filming on the Warner Bros. set, where they were spotted by fans on a tour, the rumours began to circulate online.
Momoa recently hinted on his Instagram Story that he was “back on set” and couldn’t share what he was working on since it was “top secret,” all the while pushing the recyclable aluminium bottles for Mananalu Water that were made available in his trailer.
All I can say is, thank you to one of my favourite production companies for having me and taking care of the environment because I can’t say much more, but good things are happening.

In a subsequent video, the Aquaman actor can be seen laughing as a tour group reportedly spots him and Affleck leaving the set. “Well, it’s not a f*** secret anymore, is it?” Momoa said as he filmed the fans laughing on the tour bus, before apologizing for cursing in front of the kids. “That’s what happens, Warner Bros. when you walk out of your set and there are our fans. Well, we tried to keep it a secret.”

Retakes for the blockbuster movie, which is set to debut in March 2023, seem to be in progress even though the DC superhero movie’s filming was completed in December. In the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Affleck, who earlier claimed he played Bruce Wayne “for my kids,” made his debut as the Dark Knight. Since then, he has appeared as Batman in five DC Extended Universe movies, including The Flash and Justice League, both of which will be released in 2019.
