In a case of road rage that happened on Sunday in the state capital of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, authorities said that a man with disabilities was fatally stabbed by a 16-year-old girl. According to additional superintendent of police (west) D C Patel, the event happened in the Kankalipara neighbourhood, which is within the jurisdiction of the Azad Chowk police station.
He said that the deaf and mute victim, who was riding his bicycle, had been attacked by the youngster who was riding a two-wheeler after the latter had ignored her horn. The official claimed that the girl fatally stabbed the man in the neck with a knife she was carrying. The young person was taken into custody in the Mandir Hasaud neighbourhood, and the criminal’s weapon was also found on her, he claimed.
According to Mr. Patel, the Azad Chowk police have recorded a crime under the Arms Act and section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which deals with murder. He further stated that the youngster in custody would appear before the Juvenile Justice Board on Monday.
