According to Reports, India will host the second season of the Legends League Cricket in September. The first T20 tournament, which featured some prominent retired cricketers, was staged in Oman, but the Organisers believe that because of the enthusiasm of Indian fans, they have chosen to move the competition there.
“We are delighted to bring the second season of the Legends League back home after hearing numerous requests from supporters to host the tournament in India”, said by Raman Raheja, the co-founder and CEO of Legends League Cricket, claims that India has the most cricket enthusiasts.
The venues where the matches might take place are now being narrowed down by Legends League Cricket. The league anticipates having great cricketers from nine different nations participate.
Raman Raheja also stated that, “India had the most viewership for the inaugural season, followed by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and then the rest of the world. We want to provide our viewers and cricket fans with a better experience”. The excitement of watching live cricket cannot be matched, thus we are confident that cricket fans will applaud our choice to move the base to India”. But the third season will take place in Oman the next year.
‘Star Players who will play the Legends League Cricket’ :
“Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh are former Indian cricket stars. Along with Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan, additional players include Muttiah Muralitharan, Eoin Morgan, Jacques Kallis, Dale Steyn, and Monty Panesar”.
Raman Raheja further said that “Legendary players like Kaluwitharana, Watson, Johnson, Steyn will enliven the field with their performances while adding additional energy and firepower. We are happy to have them join the Legends family and are looking forward to enjoying their cricketing prowess on the pitch”.
