In the Bareilly region of Uttar Pradesh, a baby boy aged four months lost his life after a monkey threw him off the roof of a three-story house, according to an official. According to Lalit Verma, the chief conservator of forests in Bareilly, the incident has been reported, and a team from the forest department has been deployed to look into it.
According to a source, Nirdesh Upadhyay (25), a resident of the Bareilly town of Dunka, claimed that on Friday night, he and his wife were strolling on the terrace of his three-story home with their four-month-old son. A troop of monkeys appeared on the roof abruptly.
The monkeys surrounded Nirdesh despite the couple’s best efforts to drive them away. The toddler fell from his grasp as he attempted to sprint toward the stairs.
The infant was kidnapped by a monkey before Nirdesh could hold him, who then hurled him from the roof. When the kid fell, he passed away instantly.
