The second phase of T-Hub, a 582,689-square-foot complex where the Telangana government hopes to “influence” 20,000 entrepreneurs over the course of the next five years, was officially opened on June 28. This also signifies the transformation of T-Hub, which originally began as a startup incubator housed in a building at IIIT Hyderabad, into the “world’s largest innovation campus.”
The effective carpet area of the ten-story structure is 350,000 square feet. The 1,000 starter seats will be located on the first six floors. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and AIC T-Hub Foundation, a group established at T-Hub in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and other organisations, have been given an area of 18,000 square feet on the sixth level. The Department of Science and Technology’s (DST) Center of Excellence, which focuses on machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), is given the seventh floor (ML). The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project is proposed for the eighth and ninth floors, along with social impact enterprises and young entrepreneurs (Y-Hub).
The structure is supported by four pillars and has a canteen, meeting rooms, floor pantries, fixed, flexible, and private office spaces. There are two AV-equipped event rooms, a 400-seat atrium, and designated corporate areas available.
According to T-Hub CEO Mahankali Srinivas Rao, stakeholders will concentrate on verticals including EV/Mobility, Healthtech, Enterprise tech, Gaming, and Artificial Intelligence in the new campus. Rao stated, “We intend to support over 2,000 startups and give these business owners the necessary push by giving them access to the 6Ms and 2Ps through international alliances.“
