Outrage has spread throughout the state as a result of the horrifying murder of a tailor in Udaipur. Every district of Rajasthan’s police force is on high alert.
In the Maldas regions of Udaipur, two guys are accused of beheading a tailor in broad daylight. The two accused released a video on social media shortly after the crime gloating about the beheading and threatening the lives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well. After the event, the two suspects were detained shortly after.
The tailor, Kanhaiya Lal, recently shared a post on social media in favour of Nupur Sharma, a former BJP official who made inflammatory comments about the Prophet Mohammad.
One of the assailants, Riyaz Akhtar, used a sharp-edged weapon to strike Kanhaiya Lal, while the other, Ghos Mohammad, videotaped the incident on his cell phone.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has dispatched a team to Udaipur to look into the situation after receiving a directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). After viewing the crime scene, the NIA team is expected to file a case in accordance with the terms of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, pleaded with the populace to uphold peace and requested them not to distribute the films. According to CM Gehlot, there is intercommunal strife in the nation, and the prime minister have to address the public.
The guilty will not be spared. The entire police team is working on it with full alertness. I can imagine the anger which is there among people due to the murder. We are taking action accordingly.
