Sidhu Moose Wala’s ‘SYL’ BANNED In India

The Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal is said to be referenced in Sidhu Moose Wala’s most recent song, SYL, which was the first song to be published following his murder. Unfortunately, YouTube in India banned the late singer’s most recent song after receiving a complaint from the Union government. However, the music is accessible in other nations.

The Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, which is still under construction and has been a point of dispute between Punjab and Haryana for the past forty years, is one of the contentious subjects that the song reportedly brought up.

“The content is not available on this country domain due to a legal complaint from the government,” the song URL reads in India.

SYL, the song, was reportedly uploaded on the evening of June 23 and received 2.7 crore views in less than three days. It also earned 33 lakh likes on social networking and video-sharing services.

Sidhu Moose Wala wrote and composed SYL, which was published following the unexpected demise of the popular artist. However, the precise cause for the video’s removal from the streaming site has not been disclosed.
