Slice, a fintech business that advertised itself as a credit card substitute, is under scrutiny after Google warned users that the app is attempting to snoop on users’ personal data.
In order to find dangerous apps that attempt to steal user data, Google Play Protect routinely checks the installed programmes on the device. Today, Play Protect notified users that

When the user clicks the notification, they are sent to the Play Protect page, where it is discovered that Slice is a dangerous app that is attempting to spy on users’ personal information, including messages, images, audio recordings, and call histories. Additionally, it advised users to remove the application.
Slice has clarified the situation on Twitter, stating that it has been resolved.
Yesterday evening, our Android update led to a risk message from Play Store. We investigated it and fixed the issue in 4 hours.

It is currently unknown what caused the warning to go off and if Slice was attempting to snoop on users with its previous upgrade. The business did not specify in their tweet why Google generated an alert. Google has not yet disclosed the cause of an alert being generated.
This happened just when Slice was getting into trouble with the nation’s central bank. The Reserve Bank of India recently prohibited the loading of credit lines into its systems by non-banking prepaid payment instruments (PPIs), including wallets and prepaid cards.
Non-banking institutions are not permitted to load credit lines onto them, according to the central bank. Among the businesses affected by this are Unicards and Slice.

Many may say like slice is good and recommendating it is not a problem by I think it can also have some disadvantages and if they are trying to steal our personal information then it is a waste through slice hightime we all get aware of this and try to not to use that slice card.
