India was reduced to ten men in the final minute of the match, but they held on to earn their second Asia Cup bronze medal.

“It was a challenging task. Because we had not qualified for the final, it was tough to push ourselves for a match like this. The coaches, on the other hand, gave us advice on how to stay focused during a game like this. In our first game versus Japan in this competition, we had lost. The lads, on the other hand, exercised, watched videos, and improved with each game. I am quite pleased of them; it is a young team, and they immediately remedied their errors,” Birendra said.
