5.5 Magnitude Of Earthquake Hits South Of Indonesia’s Bali

According to Information, An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 happened on Monday, as stated by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

It was located south of Bali, Indonesia. In addition, Bali residents were spotted exiting buildings in the Kuta area after Monday’s 5.5-magnitude earthquake.

Although no immediate damage was reported, a witness claimed that the earthquake was strongly felt and lasted for about a minute.

Parts of Bali, western and central West Nusa Tenggara, and far eastern East Java provinces all felt the tremor. At a depth of around 141 kilometres, it was felt around 88 miles.

Authorities may have  temporarily suspended the transportation network to check for damage in the seismic zone. There may be minor pauses during shutdowns, but if there are no damages, service will typically quickly resume.
